The threat is not hacking, it is reuse

Betting accounts are rarely broken into directly. They are entered with passwords leaked from unrelated sites. A unique password ends most of that risk on its own.

Turn on two-factor authentication

Enable 2FA in account settings and store the recovery codes somewhere that is not the same phone. An authenticator app is stronger than SMS, because SIM swap attacks target exactly this kind of account.

Review active sessions

Account settings list active sessions and devices. Sign out anything you do not recognise, and always sign out after using a shared or public device. Biometric unlock in the app is safer than a saved password in a browser.

Recovery planning

Keep the email and phone on the account current. Recovery is document-based, so an account that is verified recovers far more easily than one that is not.

Spotting phishing

Real support never asks for your password, a full card number, or a 2FA code. Bonus links arriving by SMS from unknown numbers are the most common lure. Type the domain yourself rather than following a link.

If something looks wrong

Change the password, sign out all sessions, then contact live chat — in that order. Speed matters more than diagnosis.
