Responsible gambling
Every game on every platform is priced so the operator profits over time. Treat it as paid entertainment with a fixed ceiling, or don't play.
18+ only
You must be at least 18, or the legal gambling age where you live, whichever is higher. Operators verify age with documents, and accounts opened by minors are closed with balances forfeited.
Set the controls before you deposit
- Deposit limit — a hard cap per day, week or month. Set it while you are calm; decreases usually apply immediately and increases are delayed on purpose.
- Loss limit — caps net losses rather than spend.
- Session reminder — an on-screen prompt showing elapsed time.
- Cooling-off — a short break, typically 24 hours to a few weeks.
- Self-exclusion — a long block that cannot be reversed early. This is the correct tool when limits are not working.
Warning signs
- Betting more to recover previous losses
- Gambling with money set aside for bills, rent or debt
- Hiding the amount or frequency from people close to you
- Betting to change how you feel rather than for entertainment
- Being unable to stop at a limit you set yourself
Where to get help
Support is free, confidential and independent of any operator. Search for the national gambling helpline in your country, or contact BeGambleAware or Gambling Therapy, which offers support in multiple languages worldwide.
Protecting other people
If a child uses your device, install blocking software and never store payment details in a browser. If someone close to you is struggling, the helplines above support families as well as players.
